DRUG ARREST AT LACON TRADE DAY

Sheriff Ana Franklin reports that on May 29, 2013 Deputies and Drug Task Force Agents observed a white male shaking a plastic bottle next to a Women's bathroom at Lacon Trade Day Flea Market in Falkville, Al. The subject observed the marked unit and attempted to flee to the Women's bathroom and dispose of an active one-pot methamphetamine laboratory. Agents and Deputy pursued the individual and detaining the subject recovering the active one-pot methamphetamine laboratory. The white male was identified as Anthony Wayne Mooney 46 of Vinemont, Al. Agents obtained and executed a search warrant for the building belonging to Mooney at the Lacon Trade Day Flea Market. Agents located in the building reagents and equipment associated with the Manufacture of Methamphetamine. While the Crime Scene was secured, Wife of Anthony Wayne Mooney, Tracie Yvette Mooney 47 of Vinemont, AL arrived on scene, was detained, and was found to be in possession of a Glass Smoking Pipe, Marijuana and a loaded handgun. Both subjects were arrested and transported to the Morgan County Jail.
Anthony Wayne Mooney: 46 yr, White male, of Vinemont Al, charged with Unlawful Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree, and Unlawful Possession of Felony Drug Paraphernalia. Bond set at $755,000.00 Per Judge Howell.
Tracie Yvette Mooney: 47 yr, White female of Vinemont Al, charged with Unlawful Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond set at $200,600.00 Per Judge Howell.
